2025 Imperial Patisserie Palmiers Festival Launches Limited Edition “Premium Earl Grey Petit 4 Gift Set”
The annual “Palmiers Festival” is officially launched! From April 1st to April 30th, all stores and the official online store will launch a limited edition of the new “Premium Earl Grey Petit 4 Gift Set.” It meticulously selects Earl Grey tea leaves from a century-old British blending process, pioneering the interpretation of tea aroma layers with four concentrations. Combining scientific research and development with fully handmade techniques, it creates a distinct poem of taste. Simultaneously launching the “Guess Your Favorite Concentration Ranking” interactive game, we sincerely invite all Hong Kong citizens to a feast of tea aroma and creativity with generous gifts, practicing “Imperial Patisserie’s ingenuity” to achieve “Gifted to the world”.
Limited Edition “Premium Earl Grey Petit 4 Gift Set”
Kicking off the festivities with a bang, just in time for the Palmiers Festival, we’re launching the all-new “Premium Earl Grey Petit 4 Gift Set”. With the iconic Ceylon black tea base and bergamot aroma of Earl Grey as its core, Imperial Patisserie’s Chief Pastry Chef, in collaboration with the food science team, spent half a year deconstructing the Earl Grey fragrance into four concentration chapters.
The key ingredients in Imperial Patisserie’s Earl Grey Palmiers are Earl Grey tea leaves sourced from the UK and Japanese sugar. The Japanese sugar has a more moist texture, allowing the palmiers to maintain a crispy exterior and moist interior even after multiple stages of baking. The ratio of these two ingredients directly affects the taste: the higher the proportion of Earl Grey tea leaves used, the higher the concentration and the lower the relative sweetness; and vice versa.
Imperial Patisserie’s masterly craftsmanship makes “Michelin Palmiers”
The Michelin-starred team at Imperial Patisserie uses natural French butter and creates a secret recipe for the puff pastry with a rich butter flavor by repeatedly folding and rolling the water dough (dough) and oil dough (butter) hundreds of times. In order to highlight the crispy and fragrant taste of the Palmiers, the team carefully adjusted the size of the Palmiers.
The baking process of Imperial Patisserie’s Palmiers is complicated. Unlike the common ones which are only baked once, Imperial Patisserie adopts four stages of baking at different temperatures to ensure that the Palmiers has the most perfect color and taste.
Imperial Patisserie Michelin Palmiers Series
Imperial Patisserie Palmiers series products have rich flavors, including Original, Earl Grey, Hazelnut, Almond, Sesame, Five Grains, Coconut, Chili, Sea Salt and Nuts Trio, a total of 10 choices to satisfy your taste buds. In addition to single-flavor Palmiers products, there are also butterfly cake products with various mixed flavors to choose from. Among them, the “Eight Flavours Assorted Palmiers Gift Box” is the most popular item in the series. You can taste 8 types of Imperial Patisserie Palmiers at one time, which is a decent gift.
